Henry County Habitat for Humanity (HCHH) raises its own funds through tax-deductible private contributions from civic groups, individuals, corporations, faith communities, and foundations. HCHH does not accept government funds for the construction of houses. Homes are sold to partner families at no profit, and financed with affordable, no-interest loans. Homeowners' monthly mortgage payments go into a local fund that is used to build more Habitat homes.

As you may or may not be aware, Habitat for Humanity builds homes in partnership with low-income families who find themselves in need of decent, affordable and safe housing. We rely heavily upon volunteer labor to help us reach this goal.
Our Team-Building program is another way to further engage the local work force as volunteers. This program is mutually beneficial to Habitat and your place of business because it combines physical efforts on the worksite with a financial contribution enabling us to purchase more tools and building materials.
Participants of the Team-Building program enjoy a more comprehensive volunteer experience than other volunteer groups because this program includes an in-depth orientation, lunch and end of day reflection session. Habitat is ultimately able to increase work capacity within our community through the financial contribution made by your company. The Team-Building program offers co-workers the opportunity to build a home together creating a sense of unity among members of your work environment. The program also has the potential to increase understanding of each other’s abilities and work ethics.
Habitat for Humanity is happy to accept in-kind donations as well. In-kind
donations are tax-deductible.

· A percentage of your estate
· A specific amount
