SUMMER 2009 Activities

With the organizational leadership of St Alphonsus Church in Mount Pleasant, Henry County Habitat for Humanity will be building a home with Terri and Gary Dubar and children Dustin, Quintin and MiKayla in the 1200 block of West Saunders.   Judy Sammons, President of the Church Council is the volunteer coordinator for the project – she can be reached using the church phone: 385-8410. Ron Clouse is Site Supervisor for the St Alphonsus build. The Groundbreaking was held June 7, 2009.

OTHER NEWS

Claude Kremer who was “present at the creation” of Henry County Habitat for Humanity has returned to the local board and is serving as president.

Building of House #20 is in the planning stage and will hopefully start the second half of 2009

No fund raising events are planned at this time

Ongoing Focus:  CARPENTER'S CLUB
