Focus I:  BUILDING

House construction coordinated by Faith Christian Outreach Center in Heather Estates (south of FCOC).  To volunteer, contact Gary Van Nyhuis at FCOC (319-986-5377). Work Schedule: Monday and Thursday 5-8 p.m., Saturday 8 a.m.-noon. Meals are NOT provided.

Focus II:  FUNDRAISING

The Harlem Ambassadors Basketball team will be taking on a local team on Tuesday, October 7, 2008.  Save the date for a fun evening.  Tony Fedler (319-750-2584) is recruiting the local team - women are eligible as the Ambassadors have a woman member.  Must be 19 or older and not on a team at the time of the event.

Ongoing Focus:  CARPENTER'S CLUB

Easy to join - at the time of a home dedication, contribute $50 towards the next home.
